Actress Funke Akindele, Recounts How She Came About Her Jenifa Fake Grammar
Popular Nigerian and Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, widely known as Jenifa, because of her humorous role in popular Nigerian Television comedy series, “Jenifa’s Diary”, has revealed/recounted how she came about her ‘fake grammar’.
In a question and answer session on Twitter, the 42-year-old took out time to reveal some of the things her fans were yet to know about her.
The actress who was recently convicted by a Magistrate Court in Lagos for breaking the COVID-19 lockdown order really enjoyed the session on Twitter as she bared all to her fans.
First, she told her fans how she picked the name ‘Jenifa.’ She disclosed that she was given the name in her dream.
This was followed by a question from Oluwaseun who wanted to know what inspired the fake grammar Jenifa has been using, and for how long she has been practising it.
The actress replied that she wanted to be different from what others were doing, and at the same time be educative to the viewers.
Seun asked:-
“…how did you come about that fake amazing grammar of urz… For how long have you been practicing it?”.
Funke Akindele replied:-
“Wow. I just wanted to do something diff funny and same time educative so I had to infuse that to make it funny”.
Fans have since reacted to her statement on how she came about her fake grammar with many applauding her creativity and uniqueness.
