SPORTCAF Confederation Cup: Rivers United players confident of victory against Etoile Filante

Rivers United players have promised entertaining football in their clash against Etoile Filante.

The Pride of Rivers will lock horns with Burkina Faso outfit Etoile Filante in the return leg of the CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday.

The encounter is billed for the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt.

Rivers United goalkeeper, Victor Sochima, called on fans to come out enmasse to support the team to victory.

In the same vein skillful forward,Mark Gibson, revealed that the team is working tirelessly to achieve victory in the encounter.

“We are calling on our supporters to come out enmasse to support Rivers United on Sunday,”
Sochima told Rivers United media.

“We promise to entertain the fans with our football.

Gibson added: “As a group we are working tirelessly to cone out victorious against Etoile Filante.”

The first leg ended 0-0 at the Stade Municipal Stadium, Yamoussoukro.
